Unveiling the national icon image of this original watercolor painting titled "AMERICAN VICTORY MONUMENT AT SAN DIEGO BAY" by John Yato. It is the first of its kind in AMERICA from an artist to create this magestic view of San Diego bayfront with the famous statue of a sailor kissing a nurse and USS Midway Aircraft Carrier to a work of fine art painting.
Growing up in San Diego, I have been painting images of this city for 50 years. Many of my art work are hanging in the famous U.S. Navy ships as well as many military personals and civilians. Having close influence with the U.S. military especially the Navy, it has given me the great opportunity to create this magnificent view into a beautiful painting. 2015 will be the celebration of 70th anniversary ending the WW II or V-J Day. Take part in the American history and own a copy of this master piece work of fine art. You may contact John Yato direct for any questions(john.yato@att.net) Thank you
